cars shall be single seaters, driven solely by leg power. Overall
maximum length = 3000 mm. Overall maximum width = 1125 mm.

Minimum distance between the wheels = 500 mm

Steering - The ability to turn through 90 degrees in a road of minimum
width of 3.5 metres
Crank gear - The axle must be at the same height, give or take 10
centimetres (100 mm) as the top of the seat, including cushions
Effective brakes are OBLIGATORY and MUST brake on a minimum of 2 wheels
No protruding spindles from side of wheels (on safety grounds)
Bodywork/Covering
By
the bodywork is meant original shape or covering, weather resistant,
(own choice of material) and covering the vehicle, allowing for an
opening of about 80 centimetres (800 mm) between the back of the seat
and the top of the front bonnet. (There is flexibility on this clause
for originality of ideas BUT no dangerously protruding items
)
The wheels, the steering wheel and seat can be visible
Lighting and horns are optional
Driver mirror OBLIGATORY
Wearing of crash helmets OBLIGATORY
Allow a space of 35 centimetres (350 mm) high by 70 centimetres (700 mm)
wide to attach sponsor's advertising, (This can be in the form of
fenders or integral to the design of the bodywork)
